St. Louis Double Fire Truck Accident Video Leaks Onto Internet

Two fire trucks responding to a St. Louis-area fire 11 days ago crashed, resulting in injuries to eight firefighters on board. The accident was videotaped by a nearby traffic camera and had been undergoing confidential review by city authorities, but the footage found its way onto the internet. City officials are speculating both the northbound and eastbound drivers were paying more attention to the smoke from the fire than the road, and the subsequent T-boning resulted in one truck overturned and the other proceeding until it rear-ended a parked Cadillac. Officials report the firemen involved will recover fully from their injuries and the incident remains under investigation. Hit the jump to see the video.
