Today's surprising capture of the Aston Martin Lagonda we'd been searching for but unable to find the entire time we lived in Chicago reminded us of Maindrian Pace's search for Eleanor, the 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 that always managed to slip through his hands in the original Gone in 60 Seconds. It reminded us that there are those cars that we instantly recognize but are unable to snag. Our "Eleanors."
Whether it's a car you want to own that you're stalking on Craigslist, a car you used to own, or merely an exotic in your city that you want to get a closer look at it, we all have our Eleanors. We've told your our story. So tell us, what's your Eleanor?
