    Ever wonder how Volvo engineers regularly produce cars with legendary levels of safety? Well, it's all about the tools — enter the Volvo Safety Center in Sweden. Costing $81 million, the Volvo Safety Center opened in 2000 with some serious tricks up its sleeve. It features two 300-foot-long tubes down which test cars are run, and the tubes themselves can move on a cushion of air to change the impact angle.
