2010 Mazda MX-5 Renderings Leaked By EU Patent OfficeS

Someone at the Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market, the EU agency responsible for registering trademarks, screwed up and let lose a series of photos of the facelifted replacement for the current generation Mazda MX-5. These renderings clearly show a few important design tweaks for the 2010 Mazda MX-5. Similar to the Mazda Kazamai, the new front bumper includes more angular details, a strong contrast to those on the smooth and round current generation.

Though the grille includes a more RX-8-esque rotary shape, this design seems to be more of an indicator of what we can expect from the 2010 Mazda3. Actually, it's not that dissimilar from the Mazda3 concept that turned out to be a Photoshop, indicating that Mazda is following closely the design language they established. [AutoWeek.nl]
