40% Of Pagani Huayra Production Goes To The US

Back in the days of the Zonda, you couldn't buy and drive a Pagani in the US if you wanted to. Now that Pagani sells the US-compliant Huayra, us Americans have been snatching up all our pent-up demand.

Pagani claims that 40% of Huayra production are going to the US, through their distributors in Connecticut, Miami, Dallas, Beverly Hills, San Francisco (their main base of operations), and Toronto, which isn't in the US but it's close enough to deserve a mention.

How many Huayras exactly constitute 40% of production is unclear, though the company admits they don't make more than a hundred cars a year. You can read the whole press release over at Autoblog.

Here's a sweet video from Pagani showing how they actually transport their safety- and emissions-certified cars Stateside.

We got to see one of these things going to an American owner. Check out or in-depth look right here.
