Count Chocunakch here. I am pleased to announce that Murilee Martin has begun her sanctioned racing career as of just ten minutes ago! That saucy minx is quickly proving to be faster than Danica. Everybody wish her luck.

The two items on the roof are SKULLS with red-lit eyes. They're throttle-sensitive, so when we go wide-open, their jaws clench in anger.

Her? Murilee isn't a girl...

I like the "stay in shape" strategy. The reliable Ford iron in your bulletproof Volvo chassis mean that you can crank up the aggression on Sunday, when most of your competitors will be in far worse shape, if not failed completely. Furthermore, the track will have been cleared of inferior cars and aggressive drivers, allowing the V8 muscle to blow past your barely alive competition.

Brief trackside update:

We're running in the middle of the pack. Most of our drivers have resisted the red mist.

Murilee was spun out going into Turn Two. Not her fault, but when they showed her the black flag, she rather saucily ignored it! For ten laps. Of course, she's claiming that it's because she's never been in an event like this before, but we know better - she just didn't feel like it! As a result, we were forced to serve a penalty of driving around behind Jay's bus for a while. One more driver swap and then I'm back in the saddle to deliver some Black Metal domination Max-Mosley-style!

As for video.. we have my RallyCam 2000 behind the grille and we're getting awesome footage. Problem is, there ain't the connection here to show it to you. Wait until later tonight.

I took a nap.

Then I wake up to hear the Murilee is driving the V8olvo. Rock'on!

I'll bet the Fiero wing is providing crazy downforce, hopefully not creating a push condition. When it gets dark the skulls will be terrifying beyond belief. I predict an easy 10 positions will be picked up with them on the roof.
