While I do heartily wish them the best of luck, I have grave concerns over a) an unrebuilt, sort-of-think-its-good motor, b) one of the weakest 5 speeds ever to go behind a v-8, c) various junkyard "upgrades", d) a radiator sticking through the hood, and e) the extra 300# in engine and angle iron hanging off the front of this car affecting its handling. If I was a betting man, I'd wager the car doesn't finish.

come on, give the 5.0 some credit. I think 300#'s is a bit much. I think it's more like 40 or 50 lbs over the redblock, then maybe another 100 or so in angle iron... and the T-5 isnt that weak... and the upgrades arent THAT junkyard... and... er.... uh... shit.

How is V8olvo pronounced? Why didn't you christen it Volv8?

I would like to wager $1 on lap 31. It won't be terminal but will put them down the order for a few laps. The terminal lap I think will be 134.
