Today's daily Transformers 2 update comes with more spotted Autobots and rumors of a filming location. Photographed in the Culver City, Calif. is this truck loaded up with Ironhide and Ratchet. This is the third Transformer spotting we've seen over the past week. Last Friday we saw twin Barricades, yesterday we caught glimpse of Optimus Prime and now we have Ratchet and Ironhide. My keen eye also noticed that all of the spotted Transformers are being hauled around from seemingly the same truck and trailer. That's one hell of a lucky truck driver.
The second tidbit of news comes by way of the Sedona, Ariz. film commission that is reporting multiple production inquiries for Transformers 2. Given the geographic nature of Arizona, it's not that shocking to hear Michael Bay and company looking to the Sedona to film the sequel. At least there is plenty of room for overly epic and amazing Transformers fight scenes. [Superhero Hype; Sedona Film Commission via TFW2005]

In a Weird and Strang coincidence, Michael Bay was caught getting it on with a Production Assistant in the back of a KIA Sedona. No word from the Arizona Film Commision, but the PA did say in an interview that there were multiple explosions, which is typical of Bay's work.
@No star for Bento: I heard thoughs Kias were the next boom boom rooms
In a Transformers related story...I got a pic of Megan Fox right after asking her out:

Sedona?
"Transformers 2: Into the Crystal-Powered Vortices"
(plot: Autobots struggle to bring Optimus Prime out of retirement from his little shop selling Kokopelli tchotckes at 10,000% markup.)
Going to be worst movie ever....
So, would that make the carrier Ultra Magnus?
I wish I would care more, I really do. Sure, I'll find entertainment value, but... meh.
@ret3: Well done, sir. But judging from your avatar, not a big surprise.
@cshontz: Are you expecting anything more than entertainment value? The Godfather Transformers is not.
Nor is it Old School.
@Bumblebee: Nor Animal House, if we're playing that game.
Can we talk about orange Challengers now?
Transformers 2: Stuck In Traffic Behind Confused Tourists Looking to buy Overpriced Copper Crap.
Can't wait.
@beercheck: Good point, it has been awhile... I was beginning to worry they are considering other colors
mmm... heaven on wheels.
still think they did a good job with vehicle selections, with a few minor exceptions. Bonecrusher for example.
However, I think this is the only time I have actually enjoyed seeing a hummer h2.
ps. for your transformers nuts out there. try finding and watching some of the real japanese versions of the spin off shows (ie, masterforce, headmasters, etc.). hillariously funny.
OOOOOOOOO ITS HAPPENING!!!!!!!!
ROBOGASM
sorry.
:P
@ret3:
Nice catch, I didn't think about Magnus even though I have several toy incarnations of the bastard.
Yes, we anxiously await the release of this film which will no doubt be discussed with the likes of Rashômon and Citizen Cane.
Not really. We aren't going to spend $12 to see some garbage.
Michael Bay Must Be Stopped.
@philibuster: Eh, dude's good at explosions. If they can keep it focused on having giant robotic cars blowing the shit out of other giant robotic cars, I'll be content (I fully accept that means less Megan Fox).
Sorry, but that's not Culver City! That's North Hollywood California! Hello, the street sign reads Lankershim Blvd, and the banners say NOHO Arts District.
The Transformers Vehicles can be seen almost daily in North Hollywood due to filming.
Jalopnik:Feel free to correct this error... :)
@Bento the Wertsmith:
No news here, I been on many of Bay's projects and he's screwed many PA's, both male and female...The males get screwed by working on his shoots due to his attitude.
