We've seen BMW's 2009 7-series in this sort of trippy camo before, but this time the Bavarians to have toned it down a couple notches. Though we are kind of disappointed this tester isn't equipped with the Flowbee package. Look past the swirly camouflage and you can see the car has a crisper, sharper look compared to the current model. As expected, there appears to be a degree of styling influence from BMW's CS Concept. Of course we'll have to wait for the Paris Auto Show, where this new 7-Series is expected to be revealed, to see how it really looks.

It can't get any possibly uglier than it already is...
BMW does have a tradition of creating "art cars"
is that tape covering actual ridges in the hood? That'd be, odd... almost like someone got hold of the Sebring hood dies and flipped 'em over.
Thats pretty... boring. Sedate design.
Hmmmm... Paisley camo? Looks like BMW's been to Bed Bath and Beyond.
@Rock517: just like the people who BMW 7-series!
I see a MkIII Golf, but can't tell what the green car might be. Renault?
I stared at the bimmer hood for a few minutes and it turned into a bunch of 3-D dinosaurs. You have to sort of cross your eyes to make it work.
@ash78: 92 Re styled Renault 19.
Probably would look better in orange.
Sanded-down Banglism is still Banglism. Pass.
I really hope the Bavarians find someone new to design their cars, because this is getting quite old now...
@bmoredlj: Agreed. Pre-Bangle BMWs looked engineered and purposeful rather than styled and ornamented. The Bruce has left the brand.
Volvo launch this in Sweden...I can find similarities
just change the headlamps so that they don't look like andre the giant's forehead bump.
@ash78: yup.. renault 19
since when is everyone a critic? you can't even see the car
