Who's that familiar truck spotted on a Los Angeles freeway? Oh! It must be Optimus Prime! This Optimus Prime spotting comes less than a week after we saw twin Barricades in Culver City, Calif., and it just continues to affirm that the sequel to the robogasm Transformers is, indeed, in the early filming stages.
I would assume that the Transformer beauties are being relocated to the film set from their respected storage areas. We'll just have to wait and see for ourselves as more pictures begin to pop up. [Superhero Hype via TFW2005]

So, Optimus can Transform from a Big Rig to a huge Robot...but yet still can't avoid 405 Traffic.....Welcome to L.A!
WOOT GO ME!
And PRIME!
What? Optimus Prime is a trailer pony?!...
Isn't Ray Wert supposed to be writing all the Transformers Posts? I won't read this until I get confirmation from him that its ok.
@Andrewpetty: He's busy with "Knight Rider" and ZR-1 posts to bother anymore
you think Optimums Prime would be towing the barricades, in a regular box truck.
prime needs to be towing the barricades in a box trailer, that transforms into a command station.
@ReductiveNut: double post sorry
With gas prices what they are, why use a trailer and have weight for another semi to pull, instead of driving OP himself?
This film will be teh suck if there is no Roller. That is all.
As long as they get Peter Cullen and Shia LaBeouf back, they should OK. And with any luck, the success of the first one will keep the producers off Bay's back this time and we can avoid tinker toy plot.
@Bumblebee: Yeah, I'm with you. This has potential to be even more badass.
Where's the stacks? They removed the top halves.
There was a 379 Peterbilt on Ebay made to look like Optimus Prime that was sold on Ebay, this could be another knockoff.
@Torqahontas: They probably just removed them for transport to keep the height down.
I think it is thirteen feet high for trucks and trailers to be legal. This thing rules and can't wait to see pics of the Convoy piece.
Pffft. Will be:
Worst. Movie. Ever.
I just want some Autobots that aren't on the GM payroll. What Bayt did to Jazz was an insult. How do you go from a Porsche 959 to a Soltice.
@MadNachos: Optimus sub-prime?
@MadNachos: Exactly what I was thinking!
@MadNachos: Yes, "The Sound of Music" is a kick-ass flick, and I suggest you and your sorority go watch it again instead of dumping on my party.
Oh, and don't let your vagina hit you on the way out...
@johnnyichiban: Jazz was a 935, not a 959.
I can't wait for some Optimus Prime hoonage! Okay I'm out like a fat kid in dodge ball.
I knew throwing Megatron in the Mariana Trench was just a setup for a sequel. He's frickin' Megatron, you stupid Autobots! Strap him to a nuke and launch him into space, then detonate it. Problem solved.
@combat chuck: ]
They actually say the "Laurentian Abyss" in the film, as being the deepest point.. but they f-ed it up, the deepest point IS the Marianas Trench.
Someone was sleeping on the job that day.
@jchabotte: That's probably due to the fact that geography is always the first thing American schools cut when they have to trim the budget.
I went to school mostly overseas, but I remember when I had a year at a junior high in WA, the social studies teacher told us to draw a map of the world. So I'm drawing all the continents and crap, and I look over, and the kid next to me is drawing the borders of the state of Washington. That's all he knew. Sad.
@combat chuck:
Miss Teen USA South Carolina chick to the rescue!!
i wonder if it had anything to do with the freeway scene that was being filmed on the 210 east between fontana and rialto. although i think the star of that scene was an old green caddy convertible w/ a big hood ornament and white wall tires
The pix show the 170 fwy, not Culver City...
