Well here we are, Round 2 of Jalopnik-style madness. After the first round of voting, we've eliminated half of the 32-car field. And there sure were some upsets; Parnelli Jones' Big Oly Bronco losing to some white Italian car being perhaps the most shocking. We even had a last minute buzzer-beater, with "Billy" beating out the Rolls Limo by only 2 votes! But, now it's time to vote our sweet 16 down to an elite 8. We'll be one step closer to figuring out which car you think is the coolest on-screen in the 1974 film Gone In 60 Seconds. Update: Polls have closed, voting for Round Three here.
I only lost one from my picks in the first round, and I had that car (the RR Silver Cloud) losing in round two. We should make a way to submit your bracket before voting begins for next time... in case your IT guys have some spare time. ;-)
The only really competition this round was between the Miura and the Sm. Damn that is a tough call. The Vega and the Stutz was tough too, only because it's tough to decide between two turds.

@orangeroller: Don't count out the Muira. I love both of them equally and hate that they're in the final four. Is there no humanity? I agree about Eleanor though. It'll be close regardless.
Can't believe the Oly Bronco got knocked out in the first round. Someone should be grumbling about the tournament committee. Oh wait, I guess I'm doing that. Never mind. ;)
I only lost 2 in the first round. Now unless a hanging chad miricle can save my day my stutz, cady wagon and SM, I am going to loose three more. At least my Intermechanica is hanging tuff.

It'd be nice to see a Challenger / Charger showdown next round to see which ONE truly belongs in the Fantasy Garage.

While I think the Manta is cooler than the 'Cuda, I had to vote 'Cuda out of spite. I'm holding a grudge from the Manta beating the Maserati.

@Bo Darville: maybe if the Banks modded duramax swap had been done already i think the outcome would be very different.
I couldn't even bring myself to vote on the Vega/Stutz poll. Abstention was the only way to stay clear of that disease.
In either case, the "winner" will be going up against the Miura/SM winner in the next round, so it doesn't really matter now.

I've been pretty much voting the Detroit Muscle Ticket but I think the Charger is doomed. I'll let it go to let the Challenger live, though.
