Has the current BMW Z4 got too much duck tail spoiler for you? Perhaps a little heavy on the flame surfacing action? If so we have good news for you, it seems the 2010 BMW Z4 tones things down with a more elegant approach to sports car design. At least that's what it looks like to us from the spy photos over at The Car Connection. After negotiating the maddeningly annoying gallery you can see details of a more lithe design emerge.

The hardtop convertible is integrated nicely into the body, the polarizing slash cut following the A-pillar seems to be gone, and all those annoying poky bits seem to have been filed down.
