Call 911! Explosion In Porsche Factory Stops Production

An explosion took place in Porsche's main factory in Zuffenhausen early this morning, temporarily stopping production of the 911. It's believed that gas leaked from a PVC oven in the paint room, causing the explosion. Two workers suffered minor injuries, there's no word yet on the extent of damage to the vehicles. During the subsequent fire, the factory's sprinkler system was activated, flooding portions of the factory and presumably causing more damage.

Porsche will be halting 911 production for up to three days, normal production stands at roughly 160 units per day. The Cayenne, Boxster and Cayman are unaffected. Local police are investigating the cause of the explosion, expect more details later.
