The lovers of all things Dodge over at Red Letter Dodge grabbed themselves some video of Kurt Busch, Kasey Kahne and Bobby LaBonte screwing around with a 2008 Dodge Challenger dressed as a Dodge Charger (which is easy to do given that they share a lot of the same parts). After the requisite "oohhs" and "awwws" for the camera, they take the cars out for seat time and demonstrate, once and for all, they can turn both left and right. [Red Letter Dodge]

So we went from Maximum Wagon day to Maximum Quaalude Day......ZZZZZZZzzzzzz
Actually, with Kahne in the fold the should call themselves the "Backstreet Boys", not the "Dodge Boys".
Back on your medication UDMAN!
It looks pretty good as a two door Charger. The Challenger should be an instant collector's item.
Since when did Bobby Labonte drive a Dodge? I thought he drove for Pontiac?
Look at those Nascar drivers fondle that Autostick. I'm thinking the SRT boys had to tell them "Think of it like a Jerico box, not a slushbox"
@-chet: He drives for Petty, which now does a pair of dodges
For the second time in about 3 weeks, there have been 6 production Challengers tooling around Traverse City. They stopped by the office a couple weeks back, and yesterday a friend spotted them parked for some kind of impromptu photo-shoot. He said they were being driven by what looked like "hippy college interns."
Yes, we have three NASCAR drivers saying the Challenger prototype and the mules are terrific. So this is a valid endorsement. Really. And they drive for Dodge.
That's like the head of Exxon saying that oil is not only a great source of energy, but that it's wonderful for marine life during tanker accidents and good for the pores.
@Castagere: Lee P FTW!
It's a six speed manual in that mule. Thats no autostick.
A 4,100-pound, two-door, V8, rwd retro muscle car is 'creative' and 'innovative'? Apparently my Funk & Wagnalls is out of date...
I still want a Charger SRT8 with a manual trans. Get on it, Mopar dudes.
@adb: Yeah, baby, we used the itrawebs naow.
@-chet: Thats no autostick, thats the real thing.
Thats right, a 6-speed manual in a Charger SRT-8
@georgejetson: ask if you can buy one of the cars in the video. If they made them there, cant see why they wouldnt offer it as an option next year.
Nothing like getting people on your payroll to give their "opinions." I know all automakers do that, I'm just sayin...
Kasey Kahne: "This is a nice car...this thing handles really well for......(long pause because Kasey almost says "a 4-wheeled dreadnought that you could land helicopters on" but then remembers the nice men letting him drive the car are paying him a big ton of money to say nice things about the car so he changes his mind and says)....doing 100 miles per hour through a curve."
"I feel like I'm in a racecar" .. yeah, alright.
