We had the pleasure of meeting one of the actual WGG players/submitters at the YES! display at the Chicago Auto Show this week. It was one of those random conversations where all of a sudden you realize that you known the person, at least in a digital sense. It also served as a reminder that I need to get myself out once more to the frozen tundra that is Chicago to get some more photos to share with the group. While I brew up some coffee, please enjoy this slushy auto from the Second City.
What is it?

Geo Tracker!
Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I'm guessing Pre 1999.
It could also be a Jeep Cherokee, pre-2001 (Before the Liberty).
The Cherokee... Notice the Grill through the Snow.
looks to me like one of those early 90's isuzu pickup trucks
The Grand Cherokee, prior to 1998.

Also notice the Grill....
Looks a little like a Ford Explorer to me. Definitely not a Jeep, the Jeep doesn't have the horizontal bars on the grill.
The jeep is probably right, but I'm going to vote mazda truck.
suzuki samurai
i don't know, but i think i've got the plate:
B** **2
Suzuki Vitara?
Too wide for either the Tracker or Samurai.
Generic SUV. Blah.
I want to say explorer, but it looks too small. Maybe its my eyes. Also, I have no idea what the hint is referring to.
Or maybe a Honda Passport
a rocket ship!
@NatefromOgden: odd. I was thinking it was too narrow to be a Jeep!
I was thinking pre '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee but there's too much snow sitting on the left fender there, which indicates a thicker Cherokee fender moulding.
It's hard to tell but I don't think I see any protrusions on the bumper that match the two different Cherokees pictured.
The grill looks to me more like the Lincoln version of the Ford Edge. I think it is called the MKX.
It's the Alton Manufacturing Ford F-650 XUV!
First generation Montero or similar vintage Mitsu pick up, the grill just looks right.
2001 KIA Sportage
Early to mid 90s Ford Explorer. I'm leaning more towards early 90s - it looks pretty squared off and in the mid 90s they started getting slightly curvier.
90s Isuzu Trooper?
@crevans: I think you're spot on. I'm reverting to my original guess, late 80s to early 90s Ford Explorer.
Grumman-Olsen 1-ton Stepvan?
Pre 95 Isuzu Rodeo? Put the plain bumper looks more like the Pick up, Hombré.
Some snow on a box.
.
Hey Jalopnik I got somethin' real important to show you
So just sit down and listen
Jalop you know we've been together such a long long time (such a long time)
And now I'm ready to lay it on the line
(Wooow) You know it's Winter and my heart is open wide
Gonna give you something so you know what's on my mind
A gift real special, so look out the window top
Take a look outside -- it's some snow on a box
Not gonna get you a diamond ring
That sort of gift don't mean anything
Not gonna get you a fancy car
Jalop ya gotta know SUV's are the way I are
Not gonna get you a house in the hills
A girl like you needs somethin' real
Wanna get you somethin' from the heart
Somethin' special
It's some snow on a box, some snow on a box babe
It's some snow on a box, some snow on a box girl
See I'm wise enough to know when a gift needs givin' (yeah)
And I got just the one, somethin' to show ya that you are second to none
To all the fellas out there with ladies to impress
It's easy to do just follow these steps
1: Go buy an SUV box
2: Put some snow on that box
3: Make us look at the box
And that's the way you do it
It's some snow on a box... some snow on a box babe
It's some snow on a box, some snow on a box girl
Christmas; some snow on a box
Hanukkah; some snow on a box
Kwanzaa; some snow on a box
Every single holiday some snow on a box
Over at your parent's house some snow on a box
Mid day at the grocery store some snow on box
Backstage at the CMA's some snow on box (yeah-wow-wow-wow-wow-wow)
some snow on a box...
That's a Rover SD1.
2007 Ford Escape. I think I spy with my little eye a cross bar in the grill, negating the Jeep options.
Veyronamino.
Jeep Comanche!!!
Subaru Forrester late 90's
I agree that it's not a Jeep (wrong kind of grille), but I don't think it's an Explorer either...I'm pretty sure all the trim levels of first generation Explorers had partial chrome front bumpers...this one's all plastic cladding...it looked a lot like a Grand Cherokee but it's starting to look less and less like it...
1990 Isuzu Trooper
@POLAR: Hahahaha
Just wondering...why the hell is the us mail truck in someone's driveway?
@UDMAN: notice through the snow that there are lines going horizontally in addition to vertically:
__________
|+++++++|
|+++++++|
========
Isuzu rodeo
2000 xterra
Ekranoplane?
@trs1: That'd be a Ford then, nee?
It's a Geo Cracker-the grill is the tell.
I couldn't make enough rows - the text is too awkward :I
still saying trizzacker
Mid 90's Pathfinder?
AMC Eagle
still no answer!!!??
BRONCO II. I HAVE NO CLUE. I'M JUST PULLING SH*T OUT OF MY A$$ NOW
@UDMAN: Hahaha, sorry. Pre 1999 Cherokee FTW. I answered a while ago but my comment was eaten (happens to us, too)
@trs1: Notice that Matt told me I had the correct answer...
Well I guess then U-D-MAN then, ok?
then then then
