We've been waiting for a while now to see the Aston Martin Rapide four-door coupe finally go into production, and it looks like the fine fellows at World Car Fans managed to get their hands on some photos of a near-production version filling up at a local gas station (where local is somewhere in Britain). We've already had confirmation that Aston's new buyers would produce the Rapide after it had been put on the backburner by Ford.

With the platform, looks and motivation of the DB9, we've been drooling for one of these for years and we hope that the V12-powered four-door coupe makes it to the expected debut of 2009, lest we decide to kit up a VW Passat CC instead. [World CarFans]
