Just in case you haven't had your fill of Hyundai's new V8-engine, rear-wheel drive world beater, here's some b-roll video of not one, not two, but three of them driving around a test track. And according to Genesis designer Joel Pieskowski, Hyundai's still trying to decide which set of braces they'd rather have decorating the grille of their new speed saloon — and they're looking for your input. Your choices apparently are either the sideways white-picket or chain-link fence look. You retort in the comments below and they'll decide.

Would sound better with cherry bombs.
Few powerslides and it could have been Hoon-day!
I would have liked to hear the engine note more clearly.
No one video has ever done more to dull my excitement for a vehicle I'm very excited about than that one.
Can we please, please see some melting Kumhos?
SIDEWAYS WHITE PICKET!!!! The chain link looks like a KIA!!
Chainlink for me. Sideways white picket looks like fishbones.
sideways white picketfence, looks more menacing
'Sideways white-picket' if those are the choices. There's just nothing special about the other one other than looking exceptionally cheap. And yeah... where are the power slides?
I created a user account just so I could comment on this. I am really excited about this car (Cheap V8's!!!!!)
That said, I was dumfounded by that sideways grill. It is attrocious to the point of rendering the car, much like a gently used automatic Maserati Bi-turbo, unsaleable.
The chainlink one isn't great, but obviously I prefer it.
Sideways white picket looks better and more upscale, but it needs a Hyundai logo somewhere, otherwise it looks like some generic car that could be from China for all we know. The chain link grill makes it look too much like a Sonata, but at least it is identifiably Hyundai.
Earth to Hyundai: It's called a steadicam.
not sure which is supposed to be which, but the darkest grey of the 3 seemed to be the only one that didn't look like it had a gap in its front teeth...the other 2 look like they need braces
Don't care...I'm getting a billet grill on day two anyway....sweet!
sideways picket. Though with the white-delete option checked - it's just too... white.
Sideways white picket looks much more upscale.
That video was narcolepsy-inspiring. *yawn*
For the record, my vote is for the chain-link/honeycomb look grille. And the tail looks Infiniti-esque.
My vote is for sideways, white picket, as someone already said, looks more menacing...chainlink/honeycomb reminds me too much of Pontiac.
Yes...the video left me less excited about the cars also. Blah. Lets see some of that v8 torque put one sideways!
Fer shore everyone. Forget the drugs or counting sheep, the next time I'm having trouble falling asleep I'm just going to play this video. If you could only put this in a bottle. I hope the car is more inspiring in person.
Latest scoop is that the UK isn't getting the Genesis saloon. I'm quite disappointed.
Side-ways Picket 100%! Not only does it remove the look of plastic (never good when aiming for an unscale market), but it's something different for Hyundai. I do think the color could be changed so the the entire grill is chrome, or something a little less stark against the car color. I agree with others on the emblem. I personally think that the little "V" where the grill meets the hood would be an ideal location for a smaller "H". I think that the chain-link look lends not only to a cheaper feel, but it's been done so much it's dime-a-dozen and boring, unoriginial, and certainly not something for a car aimed at the upscale market. Just my ten cents.
I apologize, "unscale" should have been "upscale".
the chain one would look slick if it were in satin and delete that mini honeycomb that the logo has, they should make it a continuation of the big one they got going on already. but then the picket one looks more up sophisticated and compliments the front fascia more, only id still rather have it in satin. and i agree with CSM TECH they should place a lil "H" where it forms a "V"
For lake of anything better, sideways picket.
These cars look the way the Sebring should have looked.
... they should have hired an amatuer to record and edit this cus at least there would have been sweet high speed flyby's and some cheesy rock music to listen to.
The sideways picket is a reminder that different isn't always good. Although, the grille should really be a bust of Phil Collins.
The sideways picket has the highest potential for making children cry.
I didn't even notice the grill. I just kept thinking Lexus GS knock off.
sideways white-picket - because JAWS was the daddy
that's pretty quiet for a V8 - more sales please :]
when you get some hi-pass pipes it's gonna be loud :]
we got enough room in there for a turbo? nitrous?
Sideways picket if i had to choose between the two. Isnt there a third option? It doesent matter, because the aftermarket will have every sort of chromed-out mesh bently wanna be replacements within a month.
Sideways white picket for me, too. The alternative looks far too cheap and gaudy.
