We previewed Maserati's limited-edition Collezione Cento yesterday, but here it is in person. We now know that the 100 units all feature 10-inch touch screen monitors in the back of each front seat. Rear seat passengers can use them in conjunction with the keyboard housed in the center armrest to browse the Internet or watch movies. That rear armrest also contains an iPod dock, USB port and auxiliary line-in, in addition to Bluetooth connectivity and a USB port for other peripherals.
The interior is clothed in something Maserati lushly identifies as "Poltrona Frau Cuoio" leather. We're not sure if the direct English translation is "1970s Bordello," but it might as well be. And yes, it gets better: The vehicle's nameplate and the trident in the gear knob both get mother-of-pearl inlays.

This is pretty cool, but aren't the Italians known for having terribly unreliable electricals? Making this somewhat worring to me?
I guess the 100 buyers of this have enough other cars to not be concerned with some downtime in the shop for issues though.
Is it just me, or does reading while in a moving car make you feel like barfing?
I suppose Poltrona Frau Cuoio is champagne-proof, so this car can probably handle any dyspeptic websurfers.
That seat stitching is so nice, it makes me want to cover it with plastic. Benvenuto a mi casa.
The last time "Limited Edition" badging that blatantly cheesy was glued to a dash was in a Bill Blass Continental.
Saw a GranTurismo this weekend... very nice looking car. It was next to a red Vantage and they were going down the road together. The Vantage in red looked awful...
@rlj676:
Yes. And Ford is bidding up to fix their electricals just like they did at Jag.
@Greg A.: You should try playing a first person shooter game in a moving car. Made the mistake of doing that once. Not only did I get nauseous, but the girl sitting next got sick too from watching the screen.
Love that interior. wow!
I can see the value of these kinds of peripherals in a family vehicle, where keeping the youngsters occupied and uncomplaining is useful, but in a luxobarge that will never endure the presence of a grape juice-filled sippy cup or a peanut butter-smeared DVD of Shrek 2? Gild the lily much?
Though I suppose if you absolutely, positively HAVE to keep up with the latest YouPorn uploads even while en route to La Scala...
That said, the trunk compartment looks amazing.
Golly look at the fancy script on that there dashboard plaque!
"Now where did that damn TV remote, er i mean keyboard get to?!?"
Why should the people in the back seat have all the toys? Sheesh. Might as well be a chauffeur.
I get sick as a dog trying to read in a car, too. I guess I could get someone to read Jalopnik to me as I'm commuting and I could dictate my responses.@ash78: My grandmother would do that. And it would be the very, very thick plastic/vinyl.
@fatbraff: Astons in red are just wrong.
I still think that this is the most beautiful 4 door car ever built :)
