Detroit Auto Show: Saturn Flextreme Concept

Remember the Opel Flextreme that was shown off at Frankfurt? Yeah, here it is again, except it is now branded as a Saturn. GM started things out right by not charging the Flextreme enough and requiring a couple people push it up a ramp to be displayed. Other than that minor incident, the Flextreme shined like the little electrical concept that could. With the help of GM's E-Flex technology, the Flextreme can inch across 34 miles solely on electric power. Similar to the Plug-In Vue, the Flextreme can also recharge via a 110V standard electrical outlet. A 1.3-liter turbo diesel engine helps the E-Flex system chug along.
