Ferrari Theme Park Breaks Ground in Abu DhabiS

If you're planning a trip to the 2009 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, you'll run right into the Ferrari Theme Park. At least, that's the plan. Ferrari is breaking ground on the park we told you about nearly two years ago. Truly the happiest place on earth for tifosi and related prancing-horse devotees, the park will feature driving-instruction courses for children and adults, a full-on Six Flags style amusement joint, high-tech theatres and a racing circuit that'll host the coming F1 addenda. The park is being built on a 4,200-acre plot on one of the largest natural islands in the emirate, Yas, which lies along the Persian Gulf, opposite Iran. We'd imagine it'll be the cornerstone for Ferrari's next big growth spurt. Call it the second happiest place on earth.
