2008 Bitter Vero, a $173,000 Pontiac G8S

How much would you be prepared to pay for a long wheelbase Pontiac G8? Specialist coachbuilder Erich Bitter is hoping that answer is "lots." The Bitter Vero is based on the Holden Statesman, itself based on the Holden Commodore, which forms the platform for the 2008 Pontiac G8. The Vero uses the stock 6.0-liter, 362 bhp V8 and 5-speed automatic gearbox. Bitter has upgraded the suspension and interior appointments, but has left the exterior largely unchanged, only slightly altering the front and rear fascias. No doubt the car will have some novelty appeal, but we'd rather have the G8 and a whole lotta money left over to spend on tires and beer. A rear-end shot follows the jump.
