Proving that use of alternative fuels is nothing new is the reborn Marcellus-Borsch Winged Express fuel altered. The original Winged Express was made famous by one Wild Willie Borsch, who often drove this beast with one hand on the wheel and other either hanging onto or off the side of the bucket. Mounting a hemi on fuel high in the chassis made for some interesting handling, and to Bob McClurg capturing possibly the most famous photo in drag racing history. Mike Boyd will be driving the Winged Express at the California Hot Rod Reunion along with the late Wild Willie himself - who still travels with the crew in an urn cleverly disguised as a trophy.
