Here we are folks at today's Detroit Belle Isle Gran Prix main event, the American Le Mans Series race. We'll strap in and fire up our keyboards to bring you sporadic coverage for the next three or so hours. Expect plenty of tense passing as there are only two good places to get around slow moving traffic. At turn one and two after a series of sweeping high speed curves is for those with courage, and between turn seven and eight on the long back stretch (with the pretty view of the river) is for those with big engines and bigger brakes.
