Most of the prototypical BMW 1-Series coupes spotted heretofore have been hardtops disguised as convertibles (reasoning?). But new shots of the 1-Series cab emerged this week, indicating the One will indeed have a cloth roof, not some mass-accruing retractable hardtop. We're expecting a full-on launch of the new coupe line at the Frankfurt show, ahead of a US rollout of the 125ci and 135ci models in 2008. [Motor Authority]
