First of all, Ford totally blew it by not using Eumir Deodato's far fonkier version of "Also Sprach Zarathustra" for this ad. But we'll let that slide, because the '78 Futura was as innovative as, well, a low-budget made-for-TV alien spacecraft. Actually, this car really was a milestone of sorts, being the first appearance of the gearhead-friendly Fox Ford platform.
