Just as we'd feared the Plymouth Belvedere buried in Tulsa, OK didn't quite make it. Although Mr. Belvedere's vault was built to withstand a nuclear attack, it wasn't built to withstand water attack. Apparently sitting in a pool of muddy water for fifty years is bad for a '57 Plymouth — who knew? Luckily some of the other items left in the time capsule made it out looking like they're none the worse for wear. Anyway, we've got some more pictures of the sad, muddy and rusted Tulsa Plymouth below. [Hat tip to everyone who sent this one in!]
