We'd like to give you more than just that stat, but for some reason withing minutes after receiving the sales e-mail from the press site, it immediately went down. So here's the blurb we got:

"VOLKSWAGEN REPORTS MAY 2007 SALES

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Volkswagen of America, Inc. today announced May 2007 sales of 22,325 vehicles, an increase of one percent over May 2006 unit sales of 22,100."

Interpret that how you will — we think maybe they sold more rabbits, or jettas or something. Maybe even a Tiguan or two — who the hell really knows. – Ray Wert
