Because the Brits have no sense of Franklish humor, Citroën introduced their Jumpy minivan in the UK as the Citroën Dispatch. And frankly, the sense of fun of tooling around with pals in a dorktastic French people-carrier just isn't conveyed by "Dispatch." Instead, it paints the vehicle as a staid transport of goods and people from one place to another, stiff upper lip in full effect. "Jumpy," on the other hand, brings to mind a vanload of hoonage with a case of Carling Black Label in the back, a few pals, Reign in Blood on the stereo and some sweet ramps.
