GM's chairman of vice, Bob Lutz says the next plug-in hybrid concept car based on its Volt project — dubbed the E Flex — will show up at the Frankfurt show later this year. He said it to the guys from PodTech, who grilled him geekily at the New York auto show. Of course, considering Frankfurt is over there, the new concept will be badged as an Opel, not a Chevrolet as was the Volt concept. Lutz also took the on-camera opportunity to chide Detroit News writer Sharon Terlep for reporting the GM was trying to distance itself for promises made when the Volt hit daylight in Detroit. Put on your liederhosen and grab a soup spoon, kids. It's a Lutzfest!
