Brings a Whole New Meaning to 'U-Haul': Detroit ATM Thieves

Back when we lived in the lovely hamlet of Benicia by the Bay, a group of rapscallions backed their van through the window of the local Food & Liquor, threw the ATM in the back and took off. If we recall correctly, they made off with something like 60 dollars. Some enterprising bank robbers/hoons in Detwa were determined to go those characters one better, hooking a U-Haul van up to an ATM at Michigan First Credit Union, yanking it out of the wall and careening off down the street with the machine flailing behind, crashing into cars. You know, if it weren't for the criminal element, that would've been a sight to see. Scratch that, it'd still be a sight to see.
