Sara Tatchio Is Totally On Message: Ford Doesn't Kill Non-Executives

Very sad news out of FoMoCo this weekend. Apparently an employee of Ford Motor Company decided to sever his ties with the automaker in a very final, very deadly way. The employee jumped from a floor of the Regent Court building in Dearborn into the atrium around 3 p.m. Saturday, killing himself. FoMoCo and Dearborn police did not release information about the man, his identity, age or hometown. But they did confirmed his death. They also somehow were able to confirm that his decision to plummet to his death was "not work-related" and that he was, as Sara Tatchio, FoMoCo spokeswoman, made clear, "not an executive of any kind." How amazing that Ms. Tatchio was able to take the time to get into the mind of the man before he died — especially considering he's not really anyone important at the automaker anyway.
