    Starlets on the Autobahn!


    Moving back into Toyota time is this Starlet commercial from 1978 featuring Starlets passing a truck on the Autobahn. As far as we can tell these are KP60 bug-eye Starlets on some manner of Trans-Europe trial run. Soundtrack features buzzing third-of-a-dozen K-series 1300cc powerplants, along with a quick riff from the helicopter required to film these guys hooning it up Starlet style on the famed German motorway - at 75 miles per hour! – Mike Bumbeck
