Just as reported late last year, Mercedes confirmed the new convertible McLaren SLR is on the way. The SLR droptop is slated for a summer debut, just in time for "the season," in bougie parlance. For visual guidance, we direct your attention to the auspicious 1999 Vision SLR concept convertible, one of the two concepts that introduced the world to Mercedes-McLaren's partnership at the Frankfurt motor show.
