Judging from new spy shots captured somewhere north of My Liver Just Turned to Sorbet, Sweden (somewhere near the Arctic Circle), Mercedes-Benz is updating the design its next-gen SL. Spy photog Hans Lehmann says the shots represent the AMG version — the upper end of the new SL's model range. The 2009 model will reportedly get a closer resemblance to the redesigned CL-Class. That means it'll look much better in person than in pictures anyway, so never mind. – Mike Spinelli
