Amid the din surrounding Jaguar's C-XF concept unwrapping, set for next week at the Detroit show, it's easy to forget the car is a mere augur for the S-Type replacement, unsurprisingly dubbed XF. Spies recently caught sight of that car, which will likely be less stylized than the proto-model that trumpets its arrival later in 2007 for the 2008 model year. As is clear from a new round of pics, the front and rear workups deviate from the prototype's Aston-like schnoz and bum, while the roofline, according to Winding Road, will make it appear less coupelike than the concept.
