What About Bob: Lutz's Latest Hits

Uh oh. Looks like Bob "Hamburgler" Lutz has doffed his corporate-communications tracking device again and grabbed for the megaphone. Lately, on his Fastlane Blog, Lutz mouthed off on how Japanese automakers might loophole through proposed tougher CAFE standards. Trouble is, as Farago points out from his TTAC soapbox, that's about as correct as an arithmetic problem summing to monkeybrains. Farago, of course, has some opinions on why The General's generals would let Lutz rule. Here's a hint, it has nothing to do with sliders.
