Apple's "Other Steve" is a guy more well known for his elegance in programming than skill as a marketing man — I mean, for chrissake, the guy supposedly created the game "Breakout" in four days. Little did we know all he needed to give his former boss n' bud Steve Jobs a run for the title of Apple main marketing man, and see his own shilling career breakout, was a bit of coaching from an announcer. Yup, screw U2 — screw the iPod's little boxes— screw it all! Nissan had it right with this ad for the 1983 Datsun 280ZX — all you need is Steve Wozniak saying, "It's awesome!" If only 1983 hadn't been the car's last year, the world would now know the true marketing power of the "Other Steve." [Hat tip to Michael!]
