These shots find the SS down N rburgring way, where GM is becoming quite OCD about testing its performance-oriented models — tuning the suspension, brakes and steering to the Green Hell's tricky bends, blind corners, and "i've killed more Grand Prix racers than you can name" comport. As is oft stated, the SS model will get the same 260-hp direct-injection turbocharged four found in the Pontiac Solstice GXP and Saturn Sky Red Line. Word is, opening day will be in mid 2007.
