Discontent to sit back and let some musty Michigan automaker claim the mantle of desert racing, Toyota says it will offer a 2012 Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series limited edition pickup. It's not really like a Raptor, but it kinda looks boss.

Based off the regular Tacoma TRD, the alphabet-soup Baja gets different wheels and tires, a ride height increase of two inches, Bilstein race shocks in front and rear and the now-requisite graphics that every sport truck apparently needs to seem cool. (In unrelated news, damn kids need to get off my yard.)

The Baja is actually the third in the TRD T|X series, because Toyota likes it when we have to go searching on our keyboards for that | character.
