The 2012 Mercedes ML's not great at towing cars out of the snow, so it seems the testers have moved on to the warmer climate offered by South Carolina where a Jalopnik reader was on hand to snap some photos.

This nearly-uncovered 2012 Mercedes ML luxury crossover's hanging out at the Greenville Embassy Suites like it's a high school JV women's volleyball team. From the shape of the grille and headlights it seems the nose is going to be a slight evolution of the current model, thus keeping it popular with the older, richer mom set.

The mostly bare taillights are the biggest departure from the current ML with a larger, wider figure more similar to what's on the current E-Class than the former ML. This isn't the AMG model, so my interest in it is quickly passing. Note to Embassy Suites frequent visitors: bring your cameras with you.
