The cover is off of the new 2009 Seat Ibiza, the latest offering from the VW groups' most Spanish of divisions. The restyled and slightly larger Ibiza will feature a trio of powerplants including a 70 HP 1.2L three cylinder (Geo Metro style anyone?) an 85 HP 1.4L four pot, and a 102 HP 1.6 L four. The little engines can all be paired with a five speed manual or the sweet, sweet seven speed DSG. From the press photos it seems the five door Ibiza shares some of the interior schemes and bits with the Audi division, and those aren't bad parts to share. [Carscoop]
