Despite its high-tech retractable top and sporty deportment, the new Volvo C70's lost points for its stoic approach to open-top frivolity (we are having the fun, no?), and the lack of a high-performance version. German Volvo tuning shop Heico Sportiv is attempting to fill what's lacking with a few add-ons, including a body kit made of PU-RIM (shalom) plastic that installs over the original bumper skin. The front skirting also replaces the original air intakes to make way for a set of Heico fog lamps, which are available with a cornering kit that wires them to the car's steering electronics. The company also offers two exhaust kits — one for a mellow tone, the other for an "open-air concert" — as well as a range of suspension tweaks, brakes, 18" and 20" alloys and interior components, and power upgrades that add between 25 and 20 horsepower to the Swede's D5 or T5 engines. The Audi S4 cabrio may not be quaking in its Continentals just yet, but looks-wise, Heico's got a point. Click through for more pics.
