Ethanol's Pricey!

State 29 found a compelling piece in a regional Nebraska paper regarding the expense of E85. The State of Nebraska's flex-fuel vehicles are the only consumers of E85 fuel in Columbus, and they're running on a supply purchased back in april at $2.80 a gallon. However, E85 prices have now skyrocketed to $3.60 a gallon, and with the fuel economy decrease associated with ethanol, consumers are looking at what's essentially $4.70 a gallon in gasoline prices. Boondoggle, anyone?
