The German- American hybrid of DaimlerChrysler announced their US sales numbers for the month of June — and they, like every automaker, ain't too good. US sales numbers fell 13% to 206,748 vehicles from 238,274 in the month of June one year ago. The Chrysler Group led the tumble — reporting sales of 185,946 versus sales of 220,032 from the prior year. Daimler's Mercedes Group tried desperately to counter-act the slide, posting a 14% increase to 20,802 cars to 18,242 in the same month last year. But yeah, when poppa ain't getting sales to make the company happy, ain't nobody happy. But still, like Ford earlier today — sales weren't down as much as predicted.
