We were renting a car this past weekend and had reserved a compact (Dodge Neon or equivalent on Enterprise's website). We asked about the Focus, and the guy says to us, "Oh, the Focus is an 'intermediate'." Uh, er, okay. But that isn't nearly as funny as what the Department of Energy's come up with on their best/worst fuel economy rankings. Apparently, the M6 is a subcompact, the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S is a minicompact, and the Bentley Arnage is midsize. Who knew it was still 1968? [Thanks to skierpage for the tip.]
