Madrid's the place, next week's the time, and the Seat Leon FR is the hatchback. All that means is that Barthelona's own VW-owned Seat will soon unveil a hotted-up version of its new Leon, the Spaniards' version of the VW Golf GTI. The FR, a big seller in the UK, will get the same turbocharged 2.0-liter TFSI gas engine as the tarty Golf, producing 197 hp and 207lb-ft of torque in the Leon. A zero-to-62 mph sprint is accomplished in 7.3 seconds and top speed is 142mph. A TDI diesel engine will also be available. All will be revealed at the Madrid motor show on May 25.
