If some of the good ole boys that work in NASCAR frowned at Toyota joining their ranks they aren't any longer. The Japanese company has come into the sport wanting to win and is offering salaries equivalent to five digit raises to many of the personnel that run the teams. Then the crewmen turn around, ask and get the money from their existing employers. And the drivers themselves are waiting it out watching their value rise with each day that goes by. So far no driver has signed on to Toyota but a few like Ricky Rudd say they've considered it. Even in tried and true NASCAR the only color that matters is green.
