Acura to Show off New SUV Concept in New York

Acura's celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and the cake looks to be in the shape of a new-generation SUV. Execs at the Honda brand announced it would be unveiling a concept version of its MDX luxury ute at the New York auto show next month, and released two sketches indicating what such a creature might look like. From the renderings, the concept appears to share a more aggressive shape with the RDX concept introduced in Detroit. They're not saying when the production model will arrive, but expect it in late 2006. The 2007 RDX will launch this summer.
