The latest Scion limited edition model is set for a New York launch, and it's pretty damn blue about it. No it's not blue because we made the obvious joke about its color (maybe a little), it's blue because it's been painted in electric Blue Blitz Mica to set it apart from previous year's Scion tC Release Series 1.0, which was rendered in Absolutely Red. The special-edition package also includes stainless steel mesh grillework, 17-inch alloys and seat-mounted and curtain airbag options. It also comes with black Alcantara-trimmed seats, a Pioneer Premium AM/FM/CD audio system with subwoofer and XM Satellite Radio. The MSRP for all that Scionness will be $16,300 $18,260, or $1,960 over the tC's base price of $16,300. Only 2,600 units of the tC Release Series 2.0 will be blue, er, built.
