    Spy Photos: 2008 Ford Escape

    The Car Connection procured shots of what looks to be the next Ford Escape (OK, so it says "Escape" right on it.) It'll replace the current CD2-platform model in the 2008 model year, following a shortened 2007-year production run. Most noticable is its brand new face and new, slab-sided comportment — as if it's spent formative years hanging out with its English cousins. Word is, the new Escape will see daylight at New York Auto Show in mid-April. We're not that optimistic.
